Develop your game plan with player involvement and they ‘own’ and be accountable for it..

Part 1. Involving your Players in Developing the Game Plan

Allow the players to dream it, allow the players to build it. This allows them to feel ownership. Ex Wallaby, current Seawolves assistant coach and IRAA coach Chris Latham enables his players (together for the 1st time), to build and own their game plan. Chris starts with his players in the classroom visually building their Attack structure. An excellent approach as players learn in different ways!

Holes is our 1st option over getting into perfect shape This week, Chris extends his initial team structure session into building multiple phase scenarios and giving his IRAA players ideas on owning the play decisions. Take the time to use this approach with your players at the start of the season and the players will reap the rewards on the pitch!
