Piri Weepu is a retired New Zealand rugby union icon known for his international career and continued involvement in coaching and rugby communities.
Piri played for the All Blacks (71 tests). He played Super Rugby for the Hurricanes and Blues, plus had overseas stints with London Welsh, Wasps, Oyonnax and Narbonne before retiring in 2017.
Piri remains actively involved in rugby at the community level, including mentoring and coaching Wellington College’s First XV and assisting local clubs.
