Part of the highly successful Randwick Academy coaches Adam Baker and James Tesoriero present a 2-part series developing attack and defence shape primarily targeted for youth and high school but can be adopted and modified for all levels of the game.

The games are competitive, fun and provide plenty of opportunity for coaches to vary to include skills and decision making.

The game Adam presents is competitive and fun, can be easily managed and adapted to suit your players’ skill level and understanding, and allows coaches to introduce a range of modifications that create realistic, game-like situations.

Part 2. Turnover ‘Chaos’ Modified Game

Level: Youth/Juniors, High School

James expertly uses a fun, modified game to replicate the ‘chaos’ of turnover rugby, while reinforcing the core skills players need to execute effective attack. Like Adam’s game, this activity is competitive and engaging, requires only a ball and some bibs, and can be played anytime, anywhere. It can be easily managed and adapted to suit your players’ skill level and understanding, with multiple modification options to create and build realistic, game-like situations.
