Dave Ellis Director Ellis Rugby is a highly experienced rugby coach from New Zealand who has worked in diverse coaching and development roles across the professional game, combining technical skill teaching with coach education and video-based learning.
Ellis Rugby specialises on player skill development, coach education, and progressive skill-based frameworks that help teams and coaches at all levels.
Dave’s coaching roles have included Blues (Super Rugby) — Skills Coach, Connacht (URC) — skills coach, Bristol Bears (Premiership Rugby) — Skills Coach.
Dave has had roles with International Rugby Academy NZ (IRANZ) as Coach/player educator, program organiser, NZRU Resource Coach producing coaching resources and leading coach education initiatives and the Black Ferns (New Zealand Women’s Team) — analyst and coach support role.
He has also worked with schools and club teams in Australia, Canada, USA, UK and Europe.
