James is currently All Blacks and Black Ferns 7s assistant coach. Having previously been head coach of the champion Waikato Women (FPC), – 2024 FPC Champions.
James was recognised in 2024 with New Zealand Women’s Coach of the Year and Waikato Rugby Coach of the Year.
James has also completed The Rugby Site’s Coach Leadership program – CALM.
