As assistant coach to the Blacks Ferns, Wesley attended 3 RWC and won 2 and is current Manawatu Turbos (NPC) head coach and Kobelco Steelers (Japan League One) assistant coach.
Aside from the Black Ferns, he has extensive experience in women’s rugby programs including Hurricanes Poua (FPC) head coach and Manawatu Cyclones (FPC and 7s) and local college programs including Feilding HS.
Recently Wesley was assistant coach with the NZU20s and built a reputation for his defensive, forward and team structure knowledge.
